Our TK program offers a balanced blend of pen-to-paper and play-based learning. Students learn how to do school while building friendships and becoming part of the broader school community. Faith formation is at the heart of all learning in TK, helping children understand that they have a loving God and are part of the caring St. Mary’s community where they can learn, play, grow, and thrive. The curriculum focuses on kindergarten standards in a developmentally appropriate way for 4- and 5-year-olds. TK serves as a bridge between preschool and kindergarten, equipping children with the skills needed to excel in kindergarten and beyond. TK provides a significant advantage, as children are better prepared for kindergarten, entering with greater confidence and readiness compared to peers who do not attend TK.
